Question: Is It Safe For A 17 Year Old To Take Creatine And Andro At The Same Time?
|
My 17 year old son is into weight lifting and hockey. His weight training coach has OK'd his taking creatine, but my son wants to also take andro at the same time; is this safe?

I am a 27 year old male. I am taking Andro and Creatine at the same time. I do not think that there is a problem taking Creatine and Andro for someone my age. I do question a 17 year old's motivation to take both supplements at the same time. The reason I say this is due to the fact that he is young. His testosterone level is high at his present age and Andro is a Testosterone pre-cursor that will elevate his own level when he does not need to. I would recommend him just taking the Creatine with some amino acids and protein powder. I also told my 17 year old brother not to take any Andro (due to his age) and advised my parents as to him not needing it at his age.

Should high school students be banned from taking andro and creatine? I think they should because these kids do not know the dangers of the stuff and will do whatever someone tells them to do. They think they must take this to get strong and to become a super athlete. Please post some info about some dangers of this stuff and some stories about people who take this and regret it.
