| I have followed the supplement market for many years now and have also tried nearly all of them. I would just like to critically evaluate the truth of these prohormones Androstenedione/nor-ando /19 nor andro.
These are all precursors to the hormones produced naturally in the endocrine system which is highly complex and all have a homeostatic mechanism that is very delicately balanced. Having said this, I tried androstack about a year ago and felt something was not right with my body. I initially took 1 capsule and later went to meet friends in a bar. When I got there I had frequency (excess urination), increased aggression during driving to the venue and when I got back home, I had hot flashes usually associated with hormonal imbalances in woman, which kept me from sleeping that night in a state of shivering wakefulness. The frequency was due to tribulus terrestris and the aggression due to the two prohormones in the stack, namely Androstenedione and DHEA.
There is no doubt that these have effects but to what cost? Would you risk your health for vanity in the long term just so one can look better? Given these substances are legal, tobacco is also legal yet is it healthy? Simply put, there is no scientific proof that these substances have safety margins in the long term and until we have evidence that it can be used effectively, I lock the pills away . The same is of course true for creatine.
