| Consumer Review: Eating High Protein Foods Like Chicken And Tuna Is Just As Good As Taking Andro Or Creatine In My Opinion. |
I love working out, and have been lifting on and off for almost 4 years now. I am 21 and I'm Asian, so genetically I am the stereotypical hard gainer. I trained naturally in high school. Freshman year, I weighed 105 and maxed 85lbs. Sophomore year, my weight went to 115 and I benched 135. Junior year, I started using supplements like protein shakes, etc., and my weight went to 140, and max bench went to 185.
The last few years in college, my weight bounced around 145 to 155. I've used Creatine, but only one brand worked for me. The cheap Weider one you get at Costco. All the EAS brands didn't do anything for me...don't know why. Been on Andro for about 1 week now and see no significant changes yet. But what I noticed is that both Creatine and Andro WILL give you ACNE.
FYI, I trained for 2 months this summer while working at UCLA. All I did was lift at 6AM in the morning and swim in the afternoon and eat their heavenly dorm food and chicken like nuts. I went up to 160 in weight for a few weeks, and I probably was in the best shape in my life...lean and ripped. It's hard to do on your own though, but eating chicken and pure protein foods like tuna is just as good as these supplements I believe, and no acne. But you have to pump seriously if you want to gain, no way around it!

I totally agree with you that eating right is way better then taking supplements. I heard of this one study where they say those supplements can take 19 years off of your life. I was taking creatine serum for a bit, but I have decided the best way to go is natural (and it is a lot cheaper).
