Question: If BCAA Tablets Are Anabolic, Does That Mean They Are Steroids?
I have a question. I have been taking something called BCAA Tablets. They promote muscle growth and reduce soreness. On the side of the bottle it says they are anabolic. Does that mean they are a steroid? They are in tablets form and the dosage is 3 tablets before a workout and 3 tablets afterwards.

Answer #1
The word anabolic simply means "muscle building". BCAA's are not steroids. They are anabolic as they are amino acids that are essential to muscle recovery & growth. Amino acids are the building blocks of protein & protein is essential to muscle growth. Using this logic it could be said that "food" is anabolic.
