Consumer Review: Chitosan Can Give You Intestinal Cramping And Diarrhea If You're Sensitive To Shellfish.

I recently took Chitosan for several days. After the third day, I developed severe intestinal cramping and diarrhea. After looking more closely at the label, I discovered that the product is derived from shell fish. I am not allergic to shell fish, but I have a sensitivity to it and react the same way if I eat any form of shellfish. So, if you have a sensitivity, be very careful with this product !
