Question: My Doctor Told Me To Stop Taking Chromium Picolinate Because I Have Hepatitis C. Is This Really Necessary?

I was recently diagnosed with Hepatitis C and will have to undergo a liver biopsy and interferon therapy. I have been taking Chromium Picolinate for the last year and am happy with the results. My doctor said I should probably stop taking it because they don't know it's effect on the liver. Does anyone know? Thanks for any info.

Yes, stop taking it. It is true. And even if you're not sure, I would definitely take the advice of a doctor. Please listen to the advice given to you by your physician (everyone!).
