| I am 19 years old and this is my second cycle of creatine. My first cycle was when I was 16 years old. I didn't experience much of a pump or increase in weight or size during my first cycle, but now I am. I stopped taking it originally because I was worried of side effects. Now it has been on the market for a long time and I know plenty of people who have been taking it consistently for years. It seems to be very safe.
I have been weight training since 16, although I took a break this summer. When I started up again, I took creatine. Within two weeks, I have packed on 10 solid pounds (130 to 140) and my bench press has gone from doing sets of 125 (the lay off killed me) to sets of 160. I know that much of this gain has been from getting back into working out, but creatine does have an effect. I am not as tired, and psychologically I need to work out. I even had a girl over last night and was upset because she showed up early so I had to cut my workout short! I am constantly looking forward to working out and have to force myself to stop after a long workout. Other than that, I have to take a dump a little more often, but that's about it - no other side effects so far. I am interested in the psychological changes though. If anyone has some insight let me know.
