Creatine

Consumer Review: I Was 5' 11" And Olny 115 Pounds Until I Started Taking Creatine.
I am a thirty-seven year old who has a metabolic rate that is way off the scales. When I graduated from high school, I weighed 115 pounds. Because of being such a hard gainer, I became quickly disillusioned when, in my early twenties, after a year of hard working out, I gained but 11 pounds. It was solid muscle, but it wasn't enough. Perhaps, I should have been satisfied, but I was not.

On July 6, 1999, I weighed 115 pounds on a 5'11" frame (I'm certain the Ritalin I was taking contributed to my low weight). I now weigh 145 pounds after almost 2-3 months of using creatine. There are other factors contributing to this weight gain, but creatine is the most significant contributing factor. My workouts have been exceptionally productive, with each session yielding increased poundage and repetitions.

I have not experienced any unusual side-effects due to creatine intake. I hope not to as I will continue to take it as long as I continue to show marked muscular development.

Response #1
I started taking creatine when I was 18, my senior year of high school. It gave me more energy, endurance and strength. My vertical increased from 27 inches to 34 inches in about one month. My one rep max on bench has climbed from 175lbs. to 290lbs. since last year. I would suggest creatine to anyone who is committed to being a better athlete. I would also suggest that people take it the right way because I do believe that there are bad side effects if taken wrong.
