Will Deca-Durabolin, an anabolic steroid, show up on a drug test for a job?

For the drug to show up they have to test for it. It would be too expensive for companies to test for everything so about the only thing they test for is barbs., amph., marij. and such. They call this triage test. No, they will not test for deca unless they suspect you are using it and they want to get rid of you.

Yes, deca will show up on a drug test. However, that is not what they are looking for in a drug test. They are looking for drugs like marijuana, cocaine, etc. It is not illegal to take steroids. It is only illegal to sell and buy steroids.

Yes, Deca will show up in a drug test for up to 18 months after discontinuation of the product.

| In most cases, deca or most other steroids wont show up on a urine test at least because you have to be looking for the specific compounds in order to pop positive on a drug test. Example...I was six weeks into a cycle of nandrolone laurate (laurabolin, very similar to deca) and had tapered up to 400mg a week. I took a urine test for probation, no doubt, (unrelated charges) and was tested for all sorts of drugs.
But, in most cases like this and cases like a work drug test they are testing for cocaine, pot...basically all the recreational drugs. Think of it this way: a drug test returns a "yes" or "no" answer in "most" cases. If they test you for pot and you have done it, it will be "yes" if not then it will be "no". They are not going to test you for pot and have it return an answer of "LSD, pot, cocaine, etc.." If they do decide to test you for anabolics, I believe they will have to do a blood test, and if that happens you are screwed because deca stays in your system for as long as 12 months. Good Luck.

Maybe if you didn't take deca, you wouldn't have these worries. Deca and all of the other steroids that are out there aren't safe. I don't care who the hell says they are. They have life long effects.
