Consumer Review: I Have Found DHEA To Be An Effective Supplement For People With Lupus.

I have Lupus. After reading what I could, including information on the Lupus site and in "Lupus News," with my doctor's permission, I started using 200mg of DHEA as suggested. I have since reduced my prednisone to 10mg at present, from no less than 15mg for a number of years. I have noticed an overall increase in a feeling of well-being and other things. I have bone loss due to prednisone and hope to have this improved. Overall, I would certainly recommend DHEA to those with mild to moderate Lupus. After several months, I have noticed no facial hair increase at all. My doctor is monitoring other tests ongoing.
