Question: Is Efalex Considered A Supplement Or A Drug?

As an adult dyspraxic, I have just discovered the marvelous efalex capsules. However, they are very expensive. I tried to use my Boots reward points to buy some and was told they were classed as a medicine and therefore did not qualify. So if they are a medicine, why can I not get them on prescription?
