Question: I'm Wondering If Efalex Would Help My 3 Year Old Daughter Who Is Developmentally Delayed Due To A Chromosome Deletion.

I have a 3.5 year old daughter with a chromosome deletion which leaves her with some disabilities. Her disabilities are: Intellectual and Developmentally delayed, In-coordinated swallowing, No speech, Intercurrent upper respiratory infections etc., etc. I am wanting to know more about Efalex. We have tried her on the Brahmi herb for six months and have had great success but as yet we still don't have the speech. Can you please tell me how effective you have found Efalex.

| Your daughter sounds a lot like my 3.5 year old son. He has been diagnosed with a global developmental delay as well as a language delay. His speech is typical of a 3.5 year old, but the language is not there. He is also very hyperactive, but has not been diagnosed with ADHD although I have my suspicions. Autism has been ruled out at this point, but he still has some odd (autistic like) behaviors like putting his hands over his ears, screaming the last word you say to him back at you, repeating things, etc.
I've been hearing more and more about Efalex and would love to know if you've tried it yet and how it is working for you. I've read dozens of testimonials that say their hyperactive kids have avoided using Ritalin because of the Efalex and you are the first person that I've come across that is considering it for a developmental delay. Also, can you tell me more about the Brahmi herb? What exactly do you use it for? Where do you get it? And, does it come in liquid form?
