| I want to share my story...it is really strange! I am only 115 pounds, but I don't have much energy and I just started at the gym because I have big thighs and extra weight in my tummy area...I cant even wear a bathing suit anymore. So, I started taking Thermolift, which is sort of like xenadrine with ephedrine in it. The maximum dose is 2 pills a day, and I started with 1/2 of one a day. They come in two forms. One is a capsule and one is a caplet, which is "slow released formula". I tried the slow release formula and only took half of it a day (in the morning after breakfast). I also drank 75 ounces of water a day.
I would feel myself "coming off of it" about 7:00 at night and would get so tired and so drained! Then I would wake up in the middle of the night dizzy (I do have inner ear problems, so maybe the pill increased it?). The weird thing is my head would feel real heavy in the morning, like I was full of sinus pressure and my nose would be stopped up. I would blow it and it would be bloody (I know this is gross...sorry). I thought surely this is not a side effect, so I kept taking 1/2 a pill, and this happened every night. I forgot to mention that I didn't drink any caffeine on this pill.
Anyway, I finally stopped taking it because I just couldn't deal with how I felt at night, even though I felt wonderful during the day! My nose and sinus pressure has cleared up...isn't this strange? Maybe I am too small to take the stuff? I thought surely a half a pill wouldn't hurt. The weird thing is I also tried the capsule, and it worked a lot better than 1/2 of the slow release kind. I thought I was safe with one capsule a day, but after 2 weeks I woke up dizzy again. I finally just stopped. Can anyone reply to this?
Thanks,
Toni
