| I am a hard gainer when it comes to weight lifting. I was told by a buddy at the gym if I wanted to boost my energy level and make some gains, take ephedrine. So I did. I ordered 2 bottles from a supplement company. The man from the gym said only to take it 2 or 3 times a week, take 1 or 2 tablets an hour before a workout. So I did. They were 25 mg tablets.
The first day I took them, I thought it was great. I took it at work about an hour before my lunch hour workout. I felt it kick in at work. My heart was just racing. I was kind of scared, but the workout was awesome. I usually only took it for squats and dead lifts, the more difficult days.
After a couple of weeks of taking it though, I ran into a problem. I wasn't able to sleep at night. My heart would continue to race into all hours of the night. I wouldn't fall asleep until 3 or 4 a.m. Remember people, take this one with great caution and don't combine with caffeine. This supplement used to be illegal in the U.S. Its just a form of speed.
