Question: Has Anyone Felt Euphoric And Intoxicated From Using GABA.
|
I was wondering if anyone has used the supplement GABA? If so, did it produce GHB or lactone-like symptoms (slight euphoria followed by drowsiness, almost like a drunk)?
Thanks,
P-Man

The first couple of times I used GABA, I found this. But since then, I've had the opposite and it's been keeping me awake when I take it before I go to bed. I'm going to try taking it through the day as someone I know has taken it pre-workout.
Does anyone know if you should take breaks from using GABA, i.e. cycle it.

Gamma Hydroxyl Buterate is a biochemical that is found in every cell in the body. It is responsible for the release of growth hormones. When there is a sudden increase in growth hormone in the blood stream, GABA, a chemical that affects consciousness in the brain, is also released freely into the blood stream at a very high potency. This is what is causing the "drunk" feeling. I took GHB for 3 months, 1 dose before bed one day, and 1 dose before lifting the next day, 7 days a week. I saw a considerable gain in strength and muscle size, increased mental focus in the gym, and deep, intensely restful sleeps. Conversely, I also experienced headaches and drunkenness frequently.
As with any recently created biochemically-based supplements, there is no evidence of long term side effects. Most of the products that bodybuilders and fitness buffs take today have not been tested in a long term study, so no one actually knows what problems the drugs can cause in the long run. As with any relatively unknown drugs, I would suggest cycling, and refrain from using the product for at least as long as you were using it. For example: 3 months on, 3 months off. Good luck,
Steve
