| I am a 30 year old male, and a doctor. I have extensively tested many growth hormone precursors on the market including Secretaogue One, Pro-HGH, and many of the homeopathic oral sprays. Here are my findings:
If you are still young (under the age of 35 years old), your anterior pituitary gland normally is still secreting ample amounts of growth hormone. So if you are under 35 and take one of the oral homeopathic sprays on the market (there are at least 75 out), you may not notice a difference. I feel these sprays would be more appropriate in someone over the age of 35 years old, who may need there pituitary gland to be activated to produce higher amounts of HGH. In these individuals, such as many of my patients, I have found the amino stacks such as PRO HGH and Secretagogue One to be quite impressive. After 6 months on an amino stack, my body fat is now 12%, my weight 148 lbs. If feel this is excellent, and am quite pleased.
Mucuna pruiriens has high amount of L-Dopa, which can increase HGH. This herb has been used since antiquity in Ayurvedic medicine as a supreme aphrodisiac and rejuvenator to the reproductive and nervous systems. This is included in many HGH precursor formulas.
Cycling is also an important issue here. Perhaps 5 days on, 2 days off for 3 months, and then take a month off to prevent the negative feedback mechanism from occurring where your pituitary gland would decrease the amount of HGH it was making previous to beginning the program.
Working out, especially weight training, as outlined in Ronald Klatz's book, is quite important.
Growth hormone secretagogues are my preference for naturally increasing levels of HGH. I find so far the homeopathic oral sprays to be weaker, and not as noticeable in their effects.
Growth hormone secretagogues are very powerful, and can truly rejuvenate the body, mind, and spirit, if taken correctly and appropriately. Truly an exciting area of supplementation and alternative medicine, deserving further research and exploration!
