Question: Is There Truth To The Rumors That Some Brands Of Ginseng And Ginkgo Contain Poisonous Additives?
I take both ginseng and ginkgo almost daily for both physical stamina for my intense workouts and for concentrating in my studies. Because of FDA regulations, herbal supplement companies are not legally obligated to disclose clinical information on their products. This is kind of scary because the dose and effect have not necessarily been documented or established by professional researchers.
I have recently heard of a report accusing many herbal supplements of containing lead and other poisonous additives. Furthermore, it said that many of the claims of contents on the bottles are not even true. This article listed particular brands selling "bad" ginseng and ginkgo. If anyone read this article could tell me where to find it, please help me out. Thank you!
