Consumer Review: I Would Advise Anyone With Hypoglycemia To Be Very Careful With Glucosamine.
I have struggled with hypoglycemia for nearly 30 years. I control it with diet and supplements. Being close to sixty, there is some arthritis starting in my hands. I thought I would try a preparation of glucosamine and MSM. I took only two capsules in one day. The next day, I woke up with a severe hypoglycemia problem: extreme fatigue, headache, dizziness, depression, severe body aches. All my "classic" hypoglycemia pointers that I have become very familiar with over 30 years. Anything with glucose as part of the name should have tipped me off...sugar! I will not take glucosamine or MSM again. I would advise any hypoglycemic to stay with the "basics" (vitamins/minerals) and beware and use extreme caution with glucosamine.
