Consumer Review: Glutamine Helps Me Recover Faster After My Workouts.
|
| My name is Layne. I am 18 years old and I have been a serious natural bodybuilder for about a year. Since I have started working out, my bench press moved up from 150 pounds to 300 pounds. But a couple of months ago I hit a plateau in my training, so I turned to supplements. I started taking Glutamine to help my progress. I have been taking 10g of Glutamine a day for two weeks with great results. I no longer am sore after my workouts and I recover in about 2-3 days instead of 4-5 days. My bench press has also moved up to 315 pounds. I have experienced all of these benefits without any side effects.
By the way, the person who said that Glutamine kept him up all night needs to have his head examined. It is not a testosterone booster or a stimulant, it is an amino acid. In fact, it is the most prevalent amino acid in the body and it is responsible for muscle protein synthesis and it prevents muscle breakdown (take my word for it, I'm majoring in biology). But don't listen to some idiot who says it keeps him up all night when he actually just had a bad dream and mommy wasn't there to comfort him. Glutamine is good stuff--bottom line!
