Question: Is It Safe To Take Metabolife Or Ripped Fuel While Taking Prozac And An Antihistamine?

| Would it be ok to take Metabolife or Ripped fuel if I am also taking 1 Prozac a day plus an antihistamine daily? Would there be any adverse reactions?
Also, I would not be taking the maximum of 6 pills per day. The most I would take of the diet aids would be 2 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon.

| I am a Metabolife(TM) Independent Distributor. Prozac pills come in different dosages. My doctor has told me that Metabolife should be no problem taken with a dosage of 20mg Prozac daily. This is NOT to say it is OK for you to take Metabolife. Any Met distributor should tell you if you are taking any anti-depressant, you should check with your doctor.
Note that Met SHOULD NOT be taken with anti-depressants in the MAO inhibitor category. Prozac is not in this category. I'm not sure about the antihistamine. Again you should check with your doctor. You can reach the Metabolife(TM) Health Information Line at 1-800-231-4764.

First of all, I have always been told you should not mix an antihistamine with Prozac. Second of all, it clearly states on the warning label that it should not be used by people with psychiatric disorders, including depression and anxiety disorders. Use common sense. READ THE LABEL.
