Consumer Review: I Got A Severe Ringing In My Ear When I Tried Metabolife On Two Different Occasions.
Hi. I've been using Metabolife on and off since May of 1999. It does help you lose weight (I've lost 15 lbs), but there were some side effects. I developed a severe ringing in my left ear. I attributed the ringing to Metabolife so I quit the supplement. Once the ringing subsided, I went back on it and encountered the ear ringing again. Has anyone experienced this?

Yes. I didn't have so much a ringing as just a dull throbbing pain that would come and go in my right ear. I quit taking it a few days ago and the pain has stopped.

My husband has been experiencing ringing in his ear constantly. I checked the web to see what information I could get & found this web page. He too has been taking metabolife. Is this a possible side effect? He will, however, have to have it checked just to be safe.
