Consumer Review: I Have Had Two Strokes And A Seizure That My Doctor Blames On The Ma Huang In Metabolife.
I started taking Metabolife in October 1999 (It is now January 2000). I have had two strokes and a seizure that my doctor attributes to the Ma Huang in Metabolife.

I have tried several ways to drop excessive weight after having my 2 children. I have 2 sisters who are currently taking Metabolife and they look great. My older sister has dropped over 50 pounds and hasn't had any problems with negative side effects. Were there any medical conditions that you had previously that your doctor attributes to your strokes and seizures? I am thinking of beginning the Metabolife myself but want to make an informed decision. I am meeting with my doctor to discuss this as well, but hearing from people who have taken it helps. Thanks.
