Consumer Review: When I Stopped Taking Metabolife I Had Terrible Withdrawal Symptoms Including Anxiety And Vomiting.
After only taking Metabolife for not even a month, I found that my appetite had be reduced to nothing. I only ate a piece of fruit or a bagel in the morning. For the rest of the day, the sight of food would make me sick. When I realized that I was not eating anything I decided to stop taking it.
When I did stop taking Metabolife, I started feeling nauseous, dizziness, anxious and nervous. I couldn't eat without vomiting, I had extreme mood swings, I became severely depressed and I'm normally a very upbeat, positive person. I couldn't go in public because I was so afraid I would pass out or get sick. It wasn't until I spoke to someone that said they had the same side effects that I had that I realized what was wrong.
For the longest time, I didn't know what was wrong with me and that was the scariest thing I have ever experienced. I went to the doctor's office and they ran some tests. The only thing they found was that my heart rate was still extremely high. It's been 2 months since I stopped taking it and I am just now starting to get better. I will never again try anything like this or recommend this product to anyone.

My girlfriend had the same thing happen to her. She starting taking metabolife after her boss told her that it hadn't work for her, but it might for my girlfriend. From the beginning, I didn't like the idea that she was taking this. My girlfriend was up for it. Once she started taking the pill, she wouldn't eat anything. She would feel sick whenever she saw food. When I told her to stop taking it, she would say, "It's supposed to do that."
I did some major research on it, and once I found out all of the negative effects it could potentially have on a person, I told her about it, but she ignored me. She continued taking the pills. Day after day, the same effects. Headaches became an everyday thing along with crankiness. One day at soccer practice, she collapsed. I was at home when I got the phone call. I rushed to the hospital and the doctor told me she would be alright once she stopped taking metabolife. She did, and had withdrawal symptoms, but now she's done with diet pills.
