Consumer Review: Taking Metabolife With Birth Control Pills Gave Me Irregular Bleeding.

Hello!
I am a 31 year old female. I began a cycle of birth control pills for Premenstrual Syndrome. When my weight went up on the pills, I began taking my husband's Metabolife. I began to bleed heavily while taking the pills and the Metabolife. After about a week and a half, I called the gynecologist. It is not uncommon to bleed irregularly when first taking the pill; however, it came up in the conversation that I was using Metabolife. She said that, under no circumstances, should a woman take Metabolife and birth control together. It causes bleeding and, in rare cases, heart failure. This scared me to death. I quit taking Metabolife. In 24 hours, the bleeding stopped. Don't take it, ladies, if you are also taking birth control. It is not worth it. I had no clue.
