Metabolift

Consumer Review: Metabolift Gave Me Incredible Energy, But I'm Worried About The Side Effects.
I bought Metabolift while I was on vacation in Florida. I was in the mall and saw the display at the GNC store. I had heard that MetaboLIFE worked well, but at the same time I always liked TwinLab products. Also the TwinLab product advertised they were cheaper. So, for $44.99 I got 240 capsules and a second bottle of 60 capsules. I started with 2 a day--one mid morning then one mid afternoon. I felt like I had just drank 8 cups of coffee. I loved the energy I felt at 3:00 in the afternoon when I usually go into vapor lock. When it was time to sleep, I was wishing I wasn't so energized. Maybe there's some calming herb or tea to take to counteract the caffeine effect.

I actually woke up (if I slept at all) at 4:00 am and started organizing photo albums. I immediately felt a decrease in appetite. I was choosing foods and portions with my brain not my emotions. I felt thinner almost immediately and can feel the calories just burning away. With consistent exercise and lower calorie intake I feel assured to lose the 20 pounds I've tried to lose for 5 years now.

Metabolift is a great product for a 900 mile road trip also. You make excellent time. I didn't sleep at the hotel at all on the road. That night I had taken a Metabolift pill with dinner. A mistake. But then I thought that all these sleepless nights could be attributed to the fact that I was away from home. The true test would be once I got home.

First I called TwinLab to review. They emphasized only decaf coffee. Until then I had 1 to 2 cups a day. They said to take Metabolift 45 minutes before a meal. Half dosage to start, then increase the dosage in increments. After adjusting to 3 a day, try 4, then 5 etc. Also, I was told that after 3 months I should take a break. TwinLab also sent me written material. In it I found that "due to its side effects, after taking Ma Huang for a month, take a two week break." I followed those instructions. Couldn't get to sleep for a few hours last night. Started to panic. Is that my heart racing. Is my panicking making my heart race or the Metabolift? Should I bag this whole thing and go back to my old ways. Depressing thought.

I woke up this morning feeling rested enough. I'm going to stick with it another week, but go back to 2 a day for a while. I have had some weird shots of pain. One in my right leg and some chest pain. I will definitely be monitoring this carefully and see my doctor if I have to. My hope is that I adjust to this diet formula and lose the weight I want to lose, but then what? This is a short term program for me. I don't want to have to keep buying these forever. At the same time it's been so long since I lost weight I'll be happy about it even if it ends up being temporary. After that, it's Jenny Craig!

If you are feeling chest pain and leg pain, metabolift may not be the product for you. I would go and see a doctor about it immediately.
