I was wondering if it is hazardous to one's health to take metabolift while taking oral contraceptives? Are birth control pills considered prescription drugs?

Yes, oral contraceptives are a prescription drug. According to my doctor, antibiotics are the only medication that can cause the oral contraceptive to be ineffective. The metabolft should be fine.
