Consumer Review: I Saw A Man Fall To The Floor In A Horrible Seizure Because Of Body Building Supplements.
I was working one day, and a woman started screaming in my store, "Call 911, call 911, a man just fell on the floor, I think he is having a heart attack, call 911!" People ran to this man's side from all over the store. He lay convulsing on the floor, saliva was drooling from the corner of his mouth, and a woman was standing over him with her hands over her eyes crying, "Help him someone, please help him." She knelt down beside him and held his hand, praying to god he was alright. The paramedics arrived and immediately started helping this poor boy. He was pale and had a hard time breathing. He was shaking uncontrollably, his breathing was very erratic, his hands were cold to the touch and he was sweating profusely. The paramedics wheeled him away and took him to the hospital with his fiancée following behind emotionally distraught. Fear had overcome all around this young man for his life.

A couple weeks later, I was telling my sister about what had happened at my place of employment. Surprisingly, she knew him. She had talked to his brother earlier in the week and he said his brother was still in the hospital. Here was a 23 year old man with his life forever changed. He was taking supplements to gain mass and strength for lifting. I am not sure of the exact name of the stuff he was taking, but he had quit using it about a month or so earlier. The "drugs" he was taking, even though he had quit using them, had caused him to go into a seizure. He said he took a lot of over-the-counter stuff.

Even though I am not sure of the "drug" he was taking, you have to take into consideration that each one reacts differently with each individual. Please, please if you ever are contemplating taking anything, whether it is legal or NOT, always work with your physician throughout your usage and after. No one will know the side effects, short term or even long term, if it is not followed closely. The reason I am saying this is because there are a lot of people in my area using these supplements and not using with caution. Where there is action there is reaction.

The man I was telling you about has no career in weight lifting, none whatsoever, and has severe brain damage caused by the seizure. He is forever going to suffer the consequences of over usage and the ignorance of his actions. Always do your homework on any supplements your are about to take, and always work with the guidance of your physician. Take care of your body and mind. Physical health and mental health go hand in hand. Know your sport and know what you're taking. No matter how mild the dosage, your body produces its own hormones and anything more...adding anything more...may be too much for some.
