Question: I'm 15 Years Old and Only 5 Foot 5. Would HGH Help Me Grow Taller?
|
| I'm 15 years old and I'm really strong and built but I'm only 5'5. I was wondering if taking HGH while my growth plates are still open could help me to get taller. I want to do something cause I'd like to be at least 5'10 when I'm older so I can get a lot stronger without looking like some huge little ball of muscle. I'd also like to be a little taller for girls and stuff. Also, does anyone know if IGF-1 or testosterone boosters with chyrsin could help? I've read a lot about this stuff and how it can make you taller, but a lot of things I've read seem to contradict themselves or don't give any concrete answers. If anyone knows anything about this please let me know.
Thanks

Nope. Sorry buddy, but growth hormone would not help you. For one thing, you're too old. Growth hormone therapy for short statured children usually begins at twelve or younger. Also, a doctor wont prescribe growth hormone unless your growth hormone levels are very low. Your height almost always is a reflection of your parents, so if your parents are short, you're more than likely going to be short. You have nothing to worry about. Males get most of their height during the later years in puberty like 15-17. I was 5' 3 when I turned 16 and by the time I was 18, I was 5'8. So I am sure you probably have lots of growing to do.

Don't worry. At 16, I was 5'5" and 110 lbs. I am now 30 and 5'10". I did not grow much until I was 18.

I really do agree with answer 1. Growth hormone will do nothing for you but mess up your natural growth patterns. The hormone can cause your bones to stop growing if not used the right way. I know people that have had significant gains with hgh, but they are usually in weight gain. Growth hormone can cause some terrible side effects. I suggest staying away from this stuff.

When I went back to my high school reunion, most of the guys had gained another 2-4 inches in height after graduation!
Don't worry, be happy.
