Question: I'm 16 Years Old And I Want To Know If I Will Grow As Tall As The Rest Of The Men In My Family.
|
| My question is not directly related HGH, but it does link in to it and I would really appreciate some concrete answers. I am 16 years old and 5'7 tall. All the men in my dad's family are 5'11 to 6'3. I was wondering if I might grow to a similar height as I have already outgrown most of the men in my mum's side of the family and all the women in my family. Do I still have the ability to grow to that height?
Also, I have been training with weights for two years, but only VERY light for one and a half years. Then I started to get heavier. I have heard mainly that weight lifting does not affect your growth and some sources that say it does. I would also like some concrete answers to this, and if possible some site references to sites related to this topic as this is a very serious issue to me. I will be EXTREMELY GRATEFUL for any feedback.
Thank you.

| I'm sorry about your problem. The same thing happened to me. I used to be average size or maybe above average in 8th grade. I was 5' 5" and 14 years old. As a freshman in high school I started lifting weights. Now I'm a senior and 17 years old, and I haven't grown an inch since before I lifted weights.
I haven't lost hope. My doctor and some of the growth experts here say it's going to be a late growth spurt. Also, I'm starting to take a growth booster and I'm doing grow-taller exercises. I'm sure you will have a better chance of growing, considering your dad's family is tall. Can't say the same thing for mine. I'm glad that I met some one that has the same problem as me. Write back here. I'll be happy to talk to you about you about this subject.
