Consumer Review: Lipitor Has Left Me With An Overwhelming Feeling Of Weekness And Malaise.
|
I was not told by my physician to notify him if I experienced muscle weakness or malaise. Now, a year after stopping the drug, I still have overwhelming fatigue. I have been told by a rheumatologist that this is often seen as a effect of Lipitor. Please read the March 2000 Consumer Reports for an interesting revelation about this drug's effective dose. I will stay away from drugs produced by this company from now on.

I have been taking Lipitor for about a year, and although it has really lowered my total Cholesterol, I do feel tired a lot. I am not blaming the drug for that because it could be caused by something else.

I have been taking Lipitor 10 mg for one month now, and I noticed that I have been increasingly tired also. Sometimes I feel like I cannot even get out of bed in the morning. My doctor fought with me to take this medicine because of my elevated cholesterol. I am only on the medicine for a month, but I'll give it a chance and see how my blood work comes out. I heard so many things about Lipitor causing liver damage.
