Consumer Review: I Wish Marijuana Was Legal Because It Helps Me With My Mood Swings And Makes Me More Productive.

Sometimes I wonder why marijuana is not legal. Is it really because the government is making more money off of the "product" than if it were to be legal? I am not a regular daily smoker, just because of the fact that it is illegal and I have a 19 month old son, and I would hate for the legal system to be involved in our lives. When I occasionally smoke (1 time a week), I find that I am more active. I clean the house, do dishes, wash floors. It helps me relax more and ease into my Yoga stretches more easily. I even do better in school (professors compliment me on my work and I get all of it done).
I wish I could find some way for marijuana to be prescribed for me because I feel it helps me with my mood swings and I have more motivation. I don't understand why it is illegal and cigarettes (and I don't even smoke those) are legal. I did talk to my doctor and told her. She just shunned me for smoking and that was that. I am going to go look for a new doctor, but I wonder if that will do anything for me.

In short, I agree with what you said about the substance itself. As far as the legal aspect goes, the best thing you can do is to do some research on facts and the TRUE statistics of marijuana, write an essay or letter and send it to our lawmakers. Then encourage your friends to do the same, because only together can we make a difference (save, of course, an election).

I think that is wrong. I had a sister that started when she was 13 and she hasn't stopped. I ask her every time I see her and she says it is just too hard to stop. I know it might be, but I have faith she can do it. I am only 12 and I already know what a blunt is from living with my sister. I know she has cut back on it, and it is because of me. I want to just tell you, you can stop before it does the same to you. Because of drugs, I am now living with my uncle and aunt, and they do not do drugs. My uncle is allergic. I wish I had three wishes. I would wish that all the drugs on earth were gone. You might think that I am too young to know this kind of stuff, but take it from me, don't ruin your life with it please. Thanks.

I also believe it helps me with my mood swings. I personally don't do it all the time, maybe once a week, but it helps me feel better about the world...like a release almost. I believe that many people that are adults (I am just a teenager) do it. They're just too embarrassed to tell anyone because they think it is not a normal thing.

I agree with you. I smoke it everyday. I am still a very smart person and I can think better when I am stoned. Since I was a child, I have had problems mentally. With pot, I can cope better than with any other drugs. I tried alcohol (makes me suicidal and homicidal), cocaine (same effect as alcohol), and anti- depressants (can't think straight, so bad I couldn't remember anything, even as far as keys, money, socks, name tags, homework, etc.).
I have manic depression and was on lithium and it made me wanna die. I smoke pot and I am the most calm and mellow, but not depressed, person I know. I think if you use it to help, it's okay, but abusing it is stupid and a waste of money. I wish people were open minded and smart enough to realize this. If I had 3 wishes, it'd be for the closed minded people to fu–– off, pot be legal, and alcohol to be outlawed because it kills a hella more than pot. Pot will only kill you in the long run. I have never had proof in my hand otherwise. All the other sh–– can kill you instantly. I know a lot of people personally who died from LSD, cocaine, heroin, pills or alcohol (all unintentionally). I hope that not all drugs disappear because I smoke pot and cigarettes, use caffeine and Tylenol. b
I got raped once, but I don't wish all men dickless. I had a friend die in a car accident, but I don't think cars should be banned. I hate murderers, but am against the death penalty because they have families too. WOW SH–– HAPPENS!!! Should we all just be hermits so we can "protect ourselves"? You gonna not get in a car because you may get in a fatal crash? I am against abortion a lot, but I think it needs to stay legal, because it helps those who may become homeless by their parents if they get pregnant, or if they'll die without it.
