Consumer Review: For Me, Paxil's Side Effects Included Impotence, Fatigue And Weight Loss. I Also Built Up A Tolerance To It.

It would seem that the side effects from Paxil seem to vary by individual. For the first two weeks I was on it, I was scared, in that it gave me impotence and extreme fatigue. The fatigue would come and go. I could be going for a walk, when out of the blue I would become so tired I could literally lie in the street and sleep if I wanted to. A bonus side effect though was that it caused me to lose weight. I lost maybe 5 pounds, which was neat, considering I wasn't on a diet at the time. After 2 weeks though, the side effects went away and I felt fine. About 2 months later though, I developed a tolerance to it and the depression came back. I was then switched to a higher dosage, which worked for awhile, but also ceased to be effective in time.
