Question: Is Phentermine Considered Safe As Long As It Is Not Mixed With Fenfluramine?
|
I've been taking phentermine for about 4 weeks and just in the past few days I have experienced some chest pain. Actually, it's more like gastric pain. It feels like there is a big knot in my lower chest. Any ideas what might be causing this? I've stopped taking them. Are these pains a bad sign? Is Phentermine considered safe as long as it is not mixed with Fenfluramine?

I used to take phen-fen (oh, how I miss it). I lost 35 lbs and kept it off for over a year until I became pregnant with my son. After gaining 50 lbs during my pregnancy, I still have about 15 lbs to lose. I have taken phentermine alone and can't even come close to getting the same results. It is hard to believe that the "speed" portion of phen-fen is what they left available. Phentermine is also known as fasting. You have probably experienced chest pains if you have taken too much of a dosage or are mixing it with caffeine. Cut back on either or and maybe it will help.

I am taking Phentermine, and I am also experiencing the same type of pain. I will take the suggestion of removing caffeine. Please let me know if you find out any more about your experience. Thanks.
