Phentermine

Question: Does Phentermine Really Work Or Is It Just Another Joke?
I have just received a prescription of Phentermine and am planning on starting it tomorrow. My question is does this really work or is it just another joke? I'd like to know how fast I'll see results and approximately how much.

I've taken phentermine and it does work, however it does have its side effects. (1) it gives you very bad breath; (2) it makes you very hyper and jittery; (3) it can make you irritable. Nonetheless, I usually lose 10lbs the first week and around 5-8lbs. each week thereafter. I've found if I follow the diet and drink lots of water I can lose a pound a day, but if I do not follow the diet I can exercise and still lose 1/2 - 1 lb. a day. It takes work with phentermine but the pills take away your appetite and give you lots of energy. Just make sure to take your Altoids or you'll be called dragon breath around your friends and family.

I've found that Phentermine combined with eating a healthy low fat diet will help you lose weight. Understand that I mean a diet of no more than 1000 calories, which isn't much food. Eating less will be easier to do with the help of this drug. It takes me about a month to lose just 10 pounds even with moderate exercise. Eventually we all need to change our habits and learn to eat less without the use of drugs. I loved Phen/Fen and it really helped me maintain a size 4 and I felt great! I stopped Phen/Fen when it was discovered that the use of the drugs was harmful.

Answer #3
I recently took Phentermine for three months. I started out at about 275 lbs. and after two months was down to 248 lbs. I maintained a two pound weight loss thereafter. However, due to the nature of amphetamines the medication stopped working during the last two weeks. One note of caution, when I stopped taking Phentermine my appetite came back rapidly and I had to force myself to eat less. But because my appetite was so greatly reduced, my stomach had shrunk dramatically.

This product is a great boost to get you started on a weight loss program. I have experienced 10 to 12lbs. in the first month and 10 to 12 lbs. the next month. When I started the third month my doctor decreased my dose to every other day until I was satisfied with my weight. I have been off of the program for a year and I have to say I failed at the nutritional part of the program because I didn't continue eating healthy (not starving but HEALTHY 1200 to 1500 cal. balanced diet). I should have gone back to the doctor when I experienced the weight coming back on to get me on track again. I didn't exercise much but when the weight started coming off I felt great so that motivated me to walk a little more, go skating with my child, etc. Good luck, it is a great boost to get you started!
