Phentermine

Consumer Review: I Have Experienced Memory Loss And Heart Palpitations While Taking Phentermine And Zoloft.
I am a 32 year old female and weigh 135lbs. My doctor put me on Phentermine 1 year ago to lose weight for a breast reduction. I have been having memory loss and irritability and now am having a lot of heart palpitations. Can any of this be caused from Phentermine? I am also on Zoloft for anxiety.

Thank you

I'm also on this combination of drugs and for the same reasons you are. I have cut my dose of Zoloft because I read somewhere that it can slow weight-loss. My opinion is that the side effects you have are caused by the weight loss medication. I get them too, but I started having memory problems when I started taking Zoloft for anxiety.

Hello,

I just want to let people know that I feel exactly the way you guys do. I've been on Zoloft and Ativan for about 4 months now for panic attacks, and let me tell you it feels better to know that I'm not alone. When I started taking it, I had to stop. I woke up in the middle of the night and felt my body freeze. I couldn't do anything. I think that it's helping, but lately I've been stressed out and I can't stop having these bad headaches and heart palpitations. It's like I'm having a stroke.

My doctor didn't say I should go to a shrink, but maybe I do!! I'm confused a lot of the times and my vision is really bad. I still have little panic attacks. Like last night, I felt like I couldn't breathe and I was sweaty and all dizzy. Hope I'm not the only one who feels like this. I know that the Ativan is addictive, but I still take it every night. I don't know if someone knows a site that I could possibly chat with people who feel this way. I am afraid to be alone, and get freaked out when there are a lot of people around. For sure, Zoloft and Ativan have helped me, but I'm still not 100% myself yet.

Thank you,
Marty

I've been on zoloft for about 6 years and twice I have awoke with that panicky feeling...like I don't know where I am or something. It's horrible, but I think it's something to do with age. I'm 17 and had not started having this until lately. I'm getting ready to turn 18. I'm guessing you are over the age of 18. I think it's similar to prozac. The younger kids take it to calm them down, and adults take it as an antidepressant. Maybe in certain people the same thing happens with zoloft.
