| Yes it does. Erectile dysfunction seems to be a side-effect of any "speed." I've been taking phentermine for a few months now. I started to become curious about any dangers of the drug after I heard an Eagles player was indicted for illegally dispensing the drug to other players. My doctor said that it has mood enhancing effect, which I have definitely noticed. That's where the increased desire is coming from, I'm sure. Impotence is an ironic downside, and I guess it just depends on how sensitive you are to it. I did have this problem. I went to the doctor and ended up with a prescription for Viagra. After taking that, I've had some of the best sex of my life.
When I went to the doctor about the impotence, I didn't realize it may have been the phentermine, and I didn't tell him I was taking it (different doctor). I didn't have the problem all the time either. He did some blood tests to check my hormone levels and for diabetes. After getting a clean bill on all that, he referred me to urologist who looked me over again and he prescribed the Viagra at my urging. I told him I wouldn't be using it every time, just on special occasions my wife and I set aside for ourselves...so I wouldn't have to worry about not being able to perform when I was "on stage" so to speak.
It only occurs to me now that it may be a problem mixing them because they both affect blood pressure. I have had no adverse side-effects other than a flushed feeling in my face (probably from elevated blood pressure). I am 30 years old with no other health problems. I started at 225 lbs and I'm down to 200 now after a couple of months. I hope this helps. Definitely talk to your doctor.
