Consumer Review: My Doctor Prescribed Trazodone As A Sleeping Aid, But I Didn't Like The Way It Made Me Feel.

Trazodone was prescribed to me with Phentermine and I was under the impression it is a sleeping aid. I took 1/2 a pill before I went to bed the first night I had them, but I stopped taking them because I didn't like the way it made me feel the next morning. If I can fall asleep on my own, I would rather not take them. But if it aids in losing weight, I will.

I too take one-half and it gives me nightmares and a headache slightly too. I feel nervous, but must not be adjusted to dosage. I have noticed a weight loss of a couple pounds, so that doesn't seem to be an issue.

I also experienced nightmares and strange dreams while taking trazadone. I'm glad I'm not the only one, because my doctor said it wasn't a side effect of it.

I took trazodone to help me sleep. I did not sleep very well and woke up the next morning with the worst headache I've ever had. I felt like I had a hangover all day...but I did not have any alcohol the day before.
