Question: What Is The Gram Amount Of Protein Per Body Weight?
What is the gram amount of protein per body weight?

Answer #1
To gain mass it has been suggested to take one gram of protein per pound of body weight.

Answer #2
For those not interested in bodybuilding, the recommended amount of protein varies with age. A rule of thumb is 1 gram of protein per day for each kilogram of body weight.

Answer #3
I've heard of the 1 gram per pound of body weight, but I've also heard that you should get a gram and a half per kilogram of body weight. To convert pounds to kgs divide your weight in pounds by 2.2. A gram per pound may be too much, not to mention that I weigh 180 pounds and that is an inordinate amount of protein to get.
