Ripped Fuel

Consumer Review: Don't Even Think Of Taking Ripped Fuel If You Weigh Under 180 Pounds.
I am about 165 pounds, 5 foot 11. I started taking ripped fuel about 2 weeks ago to aid in my performance at the gym. It helped alright! Taking the recommended dosage at 10am, I was flying high as a kite by 10:45. I went straight to the gym and worked out like a mad man for a good 2 hours. Following the directions, I continued to take the recommended dosage for the rest of the day. That first day taking the enhancer was the last day I would sleep for 3 nights straight. After taking 5 pills, 1 less than recommended, I had all the signs of textbook insomnia...with added effects. Nervousness, 'the shakes', low appetite, trouble urinating, high blood pressure, and uncontrollable energy were all side effects I possessed. I immediately stopped taking the enhancer in hopes of getting some sleep. I managed to get my bodily schedule back on track after about 5 days.

The reasons for this, that I have been researching, are as follows:

1. The product is meant for the above average male's weight (180+ pounds). This therefore excludes most women from even thinking about trying it unless a person can control side effects of course. Remember the picture of the Arnold Swarzenegger-like body on the front of the package...that is there for two reasons. The first is that it suckers most consumers into the "WOW, I am gonna look like that!" mentality, and the second being that the dosage contained in the bottle has to be strong enough for a person that size to use. So all us 100-180 pounders BEWARE.

2. Ma Huang extract is a very potent 'natural' drug. Before weight lifters and dieters got their hands on it, historically it was used as a medical treatment for various coronary, respiratory, and urinary ailments. Its effects have been widely noted throughout time and it has been deemed as too dangerous a substance to be publicly used. This is why it is banned in most states. Canada, being more tolerant, lets things slide a little more.

I don't recommend this product to anyone who falls under 180 pounds. And I definitely don't recommend it to women. Ephedrine is a steroid. Whether it be real or an 'herbal' one, the effects are 80% similar.

I just want to correct a few things that the above person mentioned. First, Ephedrine is not a steroid and in no way resembles a steroid. It is much closer to a very high dose of caffeine (sleeplessness, jitters etc.). It increases your metabolism by telling your body into using more energy. Most bodybuilders take it before workouts so the excess energy is spent in the gym.

The other incorrect statement is that it was banned because it is too dangerous for public consumption. This is incorrect. It was banned in some forms because it is the primary ingredient in the drug extasy. Retailers can only sell products that can't be converted into pure ephedrine. These products can't be used to manufacture illegal drugs.

My advice. Start with half of the recommended dose. Take early in the morning only. And stop using it if you experience bad side effects.

In response to your posting - I too am 5'11" and about 165. I have been taking Ripped Fuel for about 3 weeks now. I noticed some insomnia, but the most notable response I have gotten is the energy and boost before working out. My first week, I kept the dosage to 2 capsules before breakfast and that was it for the day. Actually, my first day I took 1 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon. Didn't sleep much that week. The next week I took 2 in the morning and 2 before lunch. I take it M-F and off on weekends. The insomnia will pass, but as for your other symptoms, I can't comment because I haven't experienced them. My suggestion, take this slow. Your body needs to adapt to having Ripped Fuel in your system. As with any supplement, it is a shock to your system that your body needs to adjust to. As always, contact your physician about this or any product you are introducing into your body.

I've been taking ripped fuel for 2 weeks and I only weigh 160. I've been getting great results already. Its because I take it very slow. Three pills a day and off on the weekends.

Response #4
I totally agree with the person who did the first response. I weight only about 130lbs and I've been taking Ripped Fuel for about a week. I've noticed that my body is starting to shake really bad. I've been having problems falling asleep for the last couple of days and also I seem to feel full all the time, even when I haven't eaten anything for hours. Also, lack of concentration and dizziness. I wasn't sure if the pills were affecting me or I was just getting sick or something, but after reading his response, I'm going to stop taking it.

I was weight lifting a couple of days ago and I noticed that it was making me very weak and my body seemed to get sore faster and longer. I weight about 130 and I am now able to bench about 180 lbs. When I was using Amino Fuel and ever since I used Ripped Fuel, my strength has gone down. Just a warning to anyone who is thinking about taking Ripped Fuel, gain more knowledge about it before you take it and stop once things get bad.

I've been on ripped fuel for two years now. I'm female and weigh about 140. I take about 3 on an empty stomach before the gym. I love the stuff. Got my gym partner to start taking it too. He is noticing problems urinating. As for myself, I started taking it to help me work late nights, and now only before the gym. It used to make me agitated and angry. You have to drink a lot of water with it. After two years--no noticeable negative side effects. If you don't want an energy boost, stop taking it. And if you're having problems sleeping, obviously cut down your dose.

I have been taking Ripped Fuel for about 5 months and it is great. However, at first I did have trouble sleeping and had dizzy spells, but your body has to adapt to anything you do or take. Although it wasn't always the best, after 2 weeks, my body got used to it. I can take it at 8 and go to bed at 10, but it's all up to how your body adapts to it. I'm sure Ripped Fuel did cause some effects people say, but let your body adapt and take dosages according to your own body. If you can't tolerate the side effects for a couple of days, then you should not only not take Ripped Fuel, but don't take anything because everything changes in the body.

I have been taking Ripped Fuel for about a week now. I am 15, 5 ft 7, and weigh 150 pounds. I am able to work out much longer and harder since I started taking it. I take 2 Ripped Fuels about half an hour before my workout, and 1 more Ripped Fuel about 1 hour into my workout. I have not experienced anything other than more intense workouts. I feel that thermogenics effect everyone differently, and some people should just not take them.

I have been taking ripped fuel for about two months now and am feeling fine. I am 5'7" and 140 lbs. I at first started to feel the similar symptoms, but I realized that I was taking a high dosage for just starting out. My body wasn't used to so much energy and didn't know how to handle it. I cut back and started working out as recommended in the gym and started to feel great. I don't think it is dangerous, you just need to know how much your body can take. Your body will soon adapt to it and the side effects will go away. If you are having trouble urinating, you should drink a lot of water, although you should drink a lot of water anyway. But if you still feel that it isn't good for you, then stop taking it. But I like it and it helped me get the motivation to work out and it increased my energy and I didn't get as tired as fast. It helps me work out longer and more efficiently.
