Question: Is It Safe to Take Zoloft or Lortab While Taking Ripped Fuel?
|
Is ripped fuel really safe? I take Zoloft for my nerves occasionally and Lortab for migraines occasionally, would there be any adverse side effects if I had been taking Ripped Fuel daily on a regular basis and had to take one of these medications.

Man, you better be careful! Seems like you may be mixing uppers and downers, dude! You better check with a Doc.

Don't do it! I took ripped fuel for three weeks and it was causing me heart pressure, so I went off it and went to the Doctor. A couple days later he thought I was hyperventilating or something (didn't think to tell him about the ripped fuel I had been on) so he put me on Zoloft. Three days into it I was having suicidal thoughts, adrenaline rushes, anxiety attacks, sweaty palms, feelings of hopelessness and guilt. I couldn't be around my two year old daughter because I lost all my patience. I truly thought I was going crazy. I have mostly recovered, but I have not been the same since. It was the worst time of my life. If you do it and have the same symptoms or don't have any please respond here.

I'm 23 and am currently taking zoloft for mild depression. I also just started taking ripped fuel. I was taking another pill which is similar for a couple months. I just switched from prozac to zoloft, and other than feeling side effects from that (like tummy aches) it's the same as prozac. I read the question about zoloft, and the response about "you shouldn't mix uppers with downers." Well I thought if you were depressed, an anti depressant (such as zoloft) would be an upper itself, not a downer. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it only makes sense.
I sometimes feel my heart racing on ripped fuel and I feel strange feelings in my chest, not really pain, but I can't tell what it is. I love the feeling ripped fuel gives me. It's the only appetite suppressant that works for me! But sometimes I worry, especially since all of the attention ma huang has gotten. I think what I feel is just my heart pumping blood faster. Anyone? Anyone?

I had no problems with taking Zoloft and Ripped Fuel together, but my activity level is very high. The ingredients in ripped fuel are meant to make your heart race and to make you sweat more. It increases your metabolism this way. If you're suffering from the kind of depression that is accompanied by anxiety or panic attacks, you're asking for trouble by taking uppers anyway. During inactive times, I experienced extreme exhaustion, irritability and heart palpitations similar to the onset of panic attacks. As long as I continued to exercise, I felt OK.
