Training Routine: I Do This Workout At Home When I Can't Get To The Gym.
I use this when I can't get to a gym for whatever reason:

Jog on the spot for 1 minute, doing knee raises for 15 seconds and short steps for 15, punching the air for 15.

Wide-Arm Pressups for 1 minute
Full Situps for 1 minute
Tricep Dips for 1 minute
Squats for 1 minute
Close-Arm Pressups for 1 minute
V-Sit Crunches for 1 minute
Calf Raises on Steps for 1 minute

Warm-Down for 1 minute

Whilst it isn't a substitute for a full workout, it keeps me in shape during days-off or when I can't get there.

Hi John-

I read your home workout routine, and being that I am an aerobic instructor I must disagree a little with the way you are handling those 10 minutes. I know what it is like when you have no time to go to the gym and just want to put in a few minutes at home to keep in shape, but to tell you the truth, I wouldn't start out with a jog. You really need to warm-up your body first before you expose it to any real workout. You are liable to get injured or, even worse, strain some muscles. Most important, you are not giving adequate time for your heart to get acquainted with the movements that will follow. If you want some effective and short warm-ups and extra exercises to stay in shape when unable to go to the gym, let me know and I will help you out.

All the best,
-Elaine
