Serotril

Question: I Eat Healthy, But I Just Can't Seem To Lose Weight. Would Serotril Help?
I've read all the comments in this section. Very informative. I wish I could agree with all that's been said on this web site. My big problem is I want to lose 15-20 pounds. I would say I eat healthy--stay away from fats, carbs--drink lots of water, and exercise. After a month or so I would get some kind of cold or flu, have to stop exercising for a few weeks, then back again trying to build up my exercise endurance. I know how to maintain weight. It's just losing the weight is where I have a problem.

Let me give some history on myself: In 1996, four years after my son was born, I was fed up with what I mentioned above. Since I felt I wouldn't be having another child (had problems conceiving), I tried Fen-Phen. It worked great for me. I didn't have any problems. In fact, it was the first time I can ever remember that I never came down with a cold or flu within that period of time. I was on it for 5 months, then gradually took myself off of it. Guess what? I became pregnant. I figured if I had problems again losing weight after this child, I'd give Fen-Phen a chance again. During my pregnancy, fen-phen was taken off the market.

After my daughter came into my life, the same scenario from above was happening again. I even at one point did a calorie count at less than 1,000 calories a day. But I still don't lose weight and always feel hungry. I went to my diet doctor, was given just the phentermine. Lost 10 pounds and that's seems to be it (I needed to lose 30 pounds). A year later, the stuff is just screwing with my brain. So I have stopped taking it. My biggest problem is at night, even when I was taking just the phentermine. I figure the fenfluramine in the Fen-Phen had the perfect affect on the serotonin level so that I didn't crave sweets or carbs at night. Now I don't eat carbs at night, but I have a problem staying away from sweets, especially with children around. If I could just get something to help my brain with the cravings .
