Question: Are There Supplements Or Vitamins That Increase The Female Sex Drive?
|
| I would like to know if there are supplements or vitamins that increase the female sex drive, or that seem to have that as a "side-effect" of their primary use. I find that doctors don't want to mess with hormones too much, except the pill, but a woman's sex drive is an important part of being healthy and hence a big part of peoples' lives. So, I would be interested in things that increase sex-drive and would also need to know the doses and possible side effects.
Question expanded by another reader.
Are there any nutritional supplements/creams/whatever, which would help with low female libido? Have you heard of Esspro 7? Does it works? Have you heard of a "progesterone creme"- (unprescribed by doctors?) and if that works? Also, do you suggest "Damiana - Nettle Root or Muira Puama? It is not all in the mind and my doctor says there is nothing wrong with my levels. I have been struggling for years to feel the same "twitch" that other women seem to feel.

DHEA helped me. I like the timed-release kind the best. I've also had good results with the wild yam creams or anything with plant progesterone in it.

I feel the same way these two women feel. I am only 23 years old and I have had a low sex drive for over a year. I am engaged to be married to the man I have been dating for over 3 years. It makes me feel really bad that I don't "get into it" anymore. I need help. My OBGYN and other doctors say that I am fine.
