Question: I Am Taking St. John's Wort While Nursing My Baby. What Effects Could This Have On My Child?
I had a baby 4 1/2 months ago and have been experiencing postpartum depression. I have a history of depression anyway and thought I would try St. Johns Wort. I did and it seems to work. The problem is that I have been reading and it says not to take while nursing. I am nursing so this is a concern for me. Does anyone out there know anything about this? What can happen if I take it? Is this info correct? Any info is appreciated! Thanks!
