Question: Can I Take St. John's Wort While Taking Niacin To Lower My Cholesterol?
|
I am currently taking a high dosage of niacin (2000 mg 2x day) prescribed by my physician to lower my cholesterol. Would there be a problem if I also took St. John's Wort (for mild depression), or is it not advisable to take these two together?
