Question: What Can I Do About The Body Hair I Gained From Using Steroids?
|
I have used steroids in the past and I was wondering what I can do about the body hair I have gained by using them. It's not really bad, but it just seams like my hairs on my legs and arms, for example, have grown very, very long. Could you please help me? I don't know what to do and neither does anyone else.
Thank You

I also am an anabolic steroid user who has noticed excess hair. Just look around. Most bodybuilder shave their arms and legs. Why do you think this is? For one thing, it does make them look bigger, but the main thing is the excess hair problem. Just shave and you'll be all right. You should have known the side effects before you done the stuff.

| Welcome to the club boys. Or perhaps I should say hairy men. Its a known fact among bodybuilders that boosting your testosterone levels will cause an excessive amount of body hair growth. I was never that hairy a guy until my first cycle, then presto, instant thick rug on my chest. Kind of cool for a young teenager I thought. Boy did I get over that quickly. Now as a hardcore bodybuilder in my mid twenties, body hair removal is a normal part of my daily routine. Shaving my chest went from a weekly to a daily chore, and it seems to get thicker and courser with each passing day. I was recently waxed for the first time. Hurt like a mother, but apparently it lasts a lot longer. Some of the guys at my gym have undergone the laser hair removal for the upper body. I guess that's my next route.
Most bodybuilders do have a hell of a lot of body hair, you just never see it because the are constantly shaving down or waxing. Just part of that macho bodybuilder lifestyle I guess. My main concern now is hair loss on top of my head. However from what my Dr. tells me male pattern baldness and excessive body hair go hand in hand. So face facts men, if you are big and overly hairy, chances are you will be a bald dude. Or start early on the hair transplant route, like most of the pros do. Any other young bodybuilders with hair transplant advice, I would love to hear from you. Thanks guys.

I have the same problem with hair. I've tried shaving and waxing. It all sucks. The laser thing is supposed to be good, but it's so expensive. The more I shave the faster it grows. Any suggestions?

| Hey there dudes. I'm also a pretty hardcore bodybuilder in my early 20s. Have had hair on my chest since 7th grade, and now its all over and getting to be a real big problem. The more I shaved, it seemed the more it grew, thicker, coarser, and covering more and more of my body. Daily chest and shoulder shavings became a real pain in the ass. I got waxed twice, worked great! But seriously guys...it hurt like a mother man! Ripping all that chest and shoulder/ back hair out by the roots! Ouch! They even had given me a mouthpiece to bite down on! And turning to my side looking at this other big hairy bald bodybuilder doing the same thing, grimacing and bucking with pain every time they ripped another section off his massive chest.
I thought to myself, there's got to be a better way, this is barbaric! I keep seeing myself as the big guy next to me getting waxed...that would be me in 15 years...still getting this fur constantly removed.! Tried lazering a few times, expensive, and didn't last too long. Looks like I've got to live with pain of waxing I guess. What's a young, studly, highly testosteroned, hairy bodybuilder to do? Wax down and squeeze into a skintight bikini muscle pouch and flaunt it baby, FLAUNT IT! This is what we work for right! Wax that bod with pride and show it off!
Also, to any other young bodybuilders out there who are severely balding or thinning and what you're doing about it. Rogaine, Propecia. Lots of young pro bodybuilders these days are doing the hair transplant route. Starting early, like me in their early 20s, and just keeping up with it. There's a few doctors who know specialize in hair transplants exclusively for bodybuilders, so obviously the need is there!
We should start a group for Young Hairy Bodybuilders with early onset male pattern baldness, due to our high TEST levels of course!
