Which value are you referring to and what units are you using?
Chol 100-199 mg/dL
Trig 0-149 " "
hdl 40-59 " "
vldl 5-40 " "
ldl 0-99 " "
glucose, serum 65-99 " "
These are the units and ranges my last test listed. Labs should list ranges for all values because lab equipment variance, units, standards, and the doctor's memory are varying. Which value(s) are listed out-of-range on your lab?
Yes, the values might go to hell.
When you go on, your total chol, trig, and ldl will probably go up quite significantly while hdl might go down. We're all wired just a little differently, but most of this runs on the same path.
