Question: How Old Do You Need To Be To Take L-Glutamine, Tribulus Terrestris, And Creatine?
|
|
I am 14 years old, 5'11", and weigh 195 lbs. I play varsity football for my high school and throw shot put. About 3 months ago I started taking creatine monohydrate, tribulus terrestris, and L-glutamine supplements. I was told that people under 16 should never take creatine. However, I feel that due to my size and development, I might be an exception. Someone please tell me if there are any dangers in taking these supplements too early.
Question expanded by another reader.
Should tribulus be used by anyone under the age of 18?

Pro-hormones do not work if you are under 18 because they raise your testosterone levels to what they were at puberty, and no higher. Anyone under 18 is still in puberty, therefore their testosterone levels are as high as they can possibly go and all the pro-hormone products will we wasted. But if you are like 20+, your testosterone levels are lower, which can be fixed with prohormones. Increased testosterone levels leads to gains in muscle in strength. Hope this helps!
