Question: Are "Whole Food" Vitamins Really Better Than Regular Vitamins?
Is there any research material on the differing effects on the body from 'whole-food' vitamins as opposed to regular type vitamins? Are they really much better for us as they advertising claims? Also, since I recently began taking Lifestyle Wholefood Vitamins, I have been having body aches and pains (which I rarely have) and am wondering if these two things could be connected. I can't find any information on wholefood vitamins and would appreciate your help.

Thank you,
Laurie K.

Yes there is a difference. The title. That's about it. You can't get a whole food product into a pill. It's impossible. But it is good marketing. Cramps. They could be your body adjusting to the supplements. Magnesium can give you diarrhea. If you pick a supplement, pick an honest one (that's tough). Look in the Physicians Desk Reference, and companies with USP labels (which many have), and companies with a great founder, and a company with a good scientific team.
