Question: How Can I Put Some Muscle On My Skinny Toothpick Arms?
|
Hi, I'm 17 years of age and I weigh 128 pounds. I am like 5'11" I'm just a tall skinny guy, and I need to gain weight! I need some help and tips from experienced users that get quick results or at least something that doesn't take forever. Also, my arms are way too skinny (long and narrow), like toothpicks. Any way in making them bigger and cut? I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

| I was the same before I started to lift. My arms were only about 14". I started lifting hard and they still didn't get a lot bigger. I began thinking about it and I realized that I was just overkilling my biceps - this does nothing. First off, I learned that your biceps are only about 1/2 a big as your triceps, so if you are looking to get bigger arms, the best thing to do is work on you triceps.
Do pushdowns 3 sets of 15 reps 3 times a day while taking some supplements of Whey Protein, or creatine (not both - side effects I have been told), or the obvious steroids if you can get them. This is what I did (not the roids) and I changed my arms from 14" to 17" in about 5 months, as well as other exercises. But the main thing is to work your triceps hard, but give them time to rest...at LEAST 48 hours, but you should wait 36. Do preacher curls at least once a weak as well. That's the best advice I can give.

You are supposed to take whey and creatine together. Creatine helps you work the muscle and whey helps you build it. And 3 sets of 15, 3 times a day is too much. You should do a max of 9 sets per muscle, but different exercises.
